Programming workshops for children under 18 during the months of July and August
Objectives:
- Introduce children to basic programming concepts in a fun and engaging way.
- Develop their logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarize children with digital tools and technologies.
- Spark their interest in computer science and prepare them for a digital future.
Target Audience:
- Children ages 7 to 17.
- No prior programming experience necessary.
Workshop Duration:
- Half-day workshops (2-3 hours)
- Option for multi-day workshops for a more in-depth learning experience.
Workshop Topics:
- Introduction to Programming: Discover fundamental programming concepts like instructions, variables, and loops.
- Block-Based Programming: Learn to program using visual block coding tools like Scratch or Blockly.
- Video Game Development: Create simple video games using child-friendly game development tools.
- Robotics: Learn to program robots to perform specific actions.
- Creative Coding: Utilize programming to create artistic and interactive projects.
